Janie Franke is a spiritual director in Lafayette. She completed the Archdiocesan Spirituality Center Spiritual Director Training Program in 2024 after feeling the start of the call nearly 20 years earlier. She loves listening to others and helping them see how God speaks uniquely to them. Janie sees spiritual direction as helping people recognize what God is already doing in their life and noticing what he is inviting them to.

Janie is married and has been involved in retreats, ministry, and small groups throughout her life. She enjoys swimming, live music, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.
Janie is also a Certified Child Life Specialist, helping children with medical challenges cope and grow. Janie currently works with children with medical needs, helping them continue to grow and develop through play.
