About the Conference
Spiritual direction is a willingness to dive more deeply into the visible and invisible realities of the transformational nature of faith. Both directors and diretees slowing down and listening more attentively to the promptings of the Spirit allows greater awareness to occur.
The 2020 conference will offer ways to swim in different waters by listening to God through shadow work, dreams, and art as we breathe the newness of the Spirit. This invitation to greater psycho-spiritual integration will help directors companion with directees to find the “pearl of great price” in their relationship with God.
The LASD conference provides spiritual growth for Louisiana spiritual directors. This year, we will utilize lecture, conversation, discussion, break-outs, role play, and time for contemplation to deepen participants’ experiential understanding and appreciation of their roles as directors.
